Steve Foster

Steve Foster completed his training with the Northern Institute in 1984 and started the Foster Clinic in April of that year. Through determination, further training and not an inconsiderable amount of hard work the clinic has continued to grow to where it is today, a two centred multi disciplinary therapy centre with 12 staff. His clinics are therapy providers for Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies, Norfolk and Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and The East Anglian Ambulance Trust together with other companies and organisations. The clinic is also a medico legal report and assessment centre.

Steve was offered an LCSP council position in 1987 and has served since; latterly he assisted the then secretary Ken Woodward and assumed the position of secretary as Kens health faded. Steve then undertook to oversee the move from Blackpool to Suffolk which has made the Register far more efficient in its day to day operation.

Steve for his part was suitably qualified and experienced to take advantage of the Health Professions Council registration for physiotherapy and also joined the CSP.

Although running the LCSP Register with the help of the Admin team Steve is still very much ‘hands on’ with both his clinics and has a full patient list. Despite the very full time operation of both his day jobs he manages to find the odd few hours to spoil a good walk by playing golf.
